Just to let you (and DS) know I have the exact same setup......and....the exact same issues. I have called and had them reset it 4 times now......tried to tune it today with 87 octane PCM & performance tune TCM (all stock no changes)....read PCM fine....Read TCM fine.....Tune PCM fine......Tune TCM says to turn off truck......and....reboot. I am now, once again, stuck in recovery mode. Being on MDT and having a job makes it extremely difficult to call tech support every time something happens.

Just had DS (MikeM) reset the unit over the phone once again.......I guess I will set it aside until I see an update to the software or an update to this thread.....

I see that 1r04g has been posted. Any idea if this solves our problem?

I didn't know there was an update. If I remember correctly, my tuner started acting up when I did the last update. I can't even get this update because when I plug my tuner into my computer, it goes into the same recover mode. I'm in the same boat, I can't wait all day on the phone, I've tried calling before and never got thru. This is going on for a few months now. :normal:

I've found that the best time to call them is right when they open at 9:00am. They are in Florida, so consider what time zone you're in. This makes me a little late getting to work, but I have an advantage there. Have the unit plugged into the truck and booted to the recovery screen and they will ask you what it is doing than they'll have you read them the firmware version and help you reset it. Hope this helps.

Hey Mike, or Jon,

Have you looked over the files I uploaded for you all? Did you notice anything out of the ordinary? Still waiting for reply from one of you about this.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I just plugged in my Tuner, and it started an update, but the update froze in inTune updater says (Not Responding). Completely white-out screen on the tuner itself. Im afraid to unplug it now. What do I do now?

Ok, I re-booted it, and the tuner is still in recovery mode, and the Tuner updater app on my computer screen says its loading updates, do not unplug...and its been in that mode since yesterday evening after I rebooted it. Can I just send you the "numbers" to reset the tuner? Maybe the new update will fix the software problem I seem to be having. ive attached the Info file once again.

I did what you told me to do, and the updater app still says "DO NOT UNPLUG", its been that way for the past couple hours now. Tuner is on the main menu. UHG

Why will this tuner not work? All I did was plug it into the computer to do an update, and every since then it stopped working. It was doing fine before that. Its a $400 paperweight now. I can't even sell it to recoup some money for it, because it DOES NOT WORK. And I want to send it in to get it fixed, but to have to pay another $100 for something that isn't my fault is ridiculous. I'm not a rich guy, I don't have an endless budget to put into my truck, but when i pay for something this expensive, I expect quality, and customer support. So far, this has not been the case with this tuner. I cant even return my truck to factory tune, because this tuner just goes into recovery mode, then crashes then restarts in a vicious cycle. It will not update, it just goes into recovery mode and freezes. What can I do as a next step?
