I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi 2wd. I updated my I1000 a week ago, and when I went to re-tune my vehicle, the tuner will crash and restart as soon as it starts to tune the TCM with performance tune. It says the PCM completed, but after it restarts, it starts up in 'Recovery Mode', and will not let me do anything else really. If I say continue, it says its going to restore original stock tune, and then crashes again and starts over and loops the whole process again. I looked at the Info.xml file and my trucks VIN is listed in that file, but if I try to do DTC scan, it says only registered vehicle is allowed, and its the same vehicle that I just tuned (but crashed). Ive had the registry reset with tech support, but as soon as my tuner tried to tune the TCM its crashed and is not stuck where its at. Basically a paper-weight now. What can I do, does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone have this problem as well?

Tuner software ver. 1r04e

<tuned vin="1D7H******

I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 and it did the same thing. I udated my t1000 like i do every other month or so. I did a modified stock tune and it said error then loaded the restored the original tune. Now my truck will not start or recognize the t1000. It says to turn the key on but do not start the vehicle. Im lost but all I know is that it would be nice to have an emergency tech support over the weekend. Hopefully I can get some help tomorrow.

fingers crossed for you. mine did the same thing. they were able to fix it over the phone. i would suggest calling as soon as they open. have your tuner and computer close by your vehicle. I use a laptop and it made things a little easier. By the end of the day they had made a file or something to fix everything. They'll walk you through a series of steps to correct whatever failed with the tuner.

Same issue. I have 03 ram hemi and converted to 2005 wire harness and computer for better tuning. Intune did exact same as you. Only option was to take to dealership to reset to factory tune and then unlock intune after that. Unfortunately I dont have dealer close so having to sending pcm and tuner into diablo to reset themselves.

Crap, I hope I dont have to go thru all that. This Tuner just seems to have some corrupted files. Worked fine when I first loaded up 87 octane tune, then it went to hell after I did an update.
