I have a 2014 Dodge Challenger Shaker R/T <Manual Transmission> and was thinking about getting a Trinity T1000 and was wondering if there were any issues I need to know about before buying it? Will the 93 Octane Tune be pretty much all I need for the HP and Torque Gain? New to this so not real sure about buying one yet so was looking for any input about it?

Thanks

Yes, the tune will work great, no issues to be concerned with.

I have the same vehicle and have made several modifications.

Here is my Build:

Tuner: Diablosport T1000 Software Revision: v.1.r.13

I have had no problems with the tuner. I did all tune installs with the start button removed and the key in the ignition.

Backing up the stock tune took quite a while but after that changing between Diablosport/custom tunes takes less than 15 minutes.

Make: Dodge
Model: Challenger R/T (Shaker Edition)
Year:2014
Engine: 5.7 Hemi
Transmission: Manual 6-Speed

Modifications:
- Modern Muscle 87mm Throttle Body
- Heartthrob 3” Cat Back Exhaust
- Kooks Long Tube Headers & High Flow Cats
- Custom tune (Modified Diablo 93 Octane Tune)

Here are the Dyno results as the modifications were made:

Modification/HP/Peak HP RPM/Torque/AFR
*Stock - Baseline/334.9/5300/368.8/12.87
**CAI/340.7/5200/372.7/12.38
87MM TB/342.3/5250/377.0/12.81
Cat Back/344.5/5250/381.9/12.34
LT Headers and HF Cats/354.5/5400/376.1/12.81
Diablo 93 Octane Tune/364.3/5300/382.7/12.76
Custom Tune/366.0/5350/388.8/13.00

* - OEM R/T Air Box and Air Filter (The car came from the factory with the Shaker intake system. I put a stock R/T Air Box and Air Filter on the vehicle to get a baseline Dyno with it configured the same as a stock R/T without the Shaker intake system.)
** - OEM Shaker Intake System

I have a 2014 Challenger RT manual transmission and a trinity 1000. When I try to connect the tuner and follow the instructions I always end up getting stopped buy an error message saying it cant communicate with unit 1. It will then try again 3 more times. After that it automatically shuts down and restarts. I have updated the trinity multiple times but I still haven't been able to get it to work. Is there something else I can do?

Has anyone else had an issue like this?
I paid $600 for the tuner so I was hoping it would actually work

Have you tried calling in to see if we can go through it with you?
Maybe try it in another vehicle to see if it communicates properly there?
