For some reason I have not been able to raise the max MPH speed on my PCM. The predator sends the tune to raise this to 125mph successfully but max speed on the road is only 97mph.

I guess I have two questions. First I would like to know why the predator is unable to change my max MPH. Second I wonder if there are other programed changes that are also not successfully installed like the max MPH.

I am using the 87 octane performance tune. Please help!

Thanks in advance...
Loki

What revision do you have on the predator? Do you set both max mph to 125mph? I have no doubt that the actual tune goes into the vehicle, you could possibly have a an older revision of the predator.

The revision is 2.04
I do not know what you mean by "both" max mph...
Thanks for your help...

The max mph should have 2 parameters in it, one for etc and one without etc, you need to max both out to eliminate speed limiter.

OK, I made sure both were set up. What does ETC stand for? Electronic Torque Control??? The manual does not discuss this at all. Thanks. I will check it out.

Quick update. The max MPH is now working. I guess I did not originally set up both parameters as you said. Thanks
