No Response Error 06 TBSS

Hey guys, new to diablo tuners, just picked up a predator for my 06 trailblazer ss. The unit is used but is not married to the previous vehicle. When I try to tune my truck it gives me a No Response error. I am not sure when the last time the unit was updated, but it is the correct unit to be used on my vehicle.

is the key on?
I know TBSS had some weird ignition switch issues...

I had the key in the On position.

try cycling it a few times, I have personally seen the on position to be a problem on the TBSS models.
