2001 chevy 6.0 u7198 unable to connect to vehicle

hi all just recently purchased the diablosport predator u7198 brand from summit racing and the interface kit. Tried to install the performance to on to my truck and im getting an unable to connect to the vehicle i have tried everything, i updated to the newest software for the tuner the 9.18 version, im at witts end on this, and there are no previous tunes installed on the vehicle please help

come on please some one has got to have some kind of an idea
