hey i got a 2005 corvette, i just bought a diablosport predator u7191. I brought the car to GM and got the pcm update the one for the battery run down which is what the forum said i needed on the 05 corvette in order for the predator to work, and then i updated my predator it now says predator v.9r03 i then plugged the predator into my car again hopeing it would work but i still get this ( 12596660: part number not found in vehical data base)?

if it still says 12596660, then I promise you, someone at GM took your money and did NOTHING.

Not cool....

If they flash the PCM, that calid WILL change.

hey i was at gm yesterday and told them that i didnt think the update worked and they sent me to the service manager and he showed me that the update was completed for the battery run down because a code comes up on the car after its complete. then i told him that i had a predator and that the update was suppose to change my caliberation and he said it never but he wants to find out how to and he told me to ask what the TSB # is that the other ppl used to get the update for their 05 corvette, does anyone know what the TSB # is ?

I hate to say it but they are clueless.

The batt rundown fix is part of a NEW calibration, that replaces the 12596660 cal.

Give me your VIN, and I'll show you a screenshot of the GM website where this is clearly laid out.

I cant believe Im going to have to provide a GM screenshot to a GM dealership to get a GM PCM updated, wow....

show them this.

go to TIS (GMs calibration website) and type in your VIN, and get claids, and you'll see htis page, which does not even list your old calibration, as it was preproduction.
It does show the 2 newer, updates to that old calibration, the highlighted one is what your car should show once it is actually updated.

Hi All, I just tried to use the u7191 I just got for my 05 Corvette and got the same error message. Any idea what the dealer charges to flash the PCM? Can you run my vin too?
